Dylan Electric1965: Bob Dylan finishes recording Highway 61 Revisited — which just might be his greatest ever LP — after laying down Desolation Row and Just Like Tom Thumb’s Blues. This is his sixth studio album, and one author (Michael Gray) writes that the 1960s “start” with Highway 61 Revisited. Of course it has Like a Rolling Stone. Which I love. But I also so love this:
