Byrds-MrTambourineManThe Byrds record Dylan’s Mr. Tambourine Man in Hollywood. It is the title song of the group’s debut album, and the single goes to #1 on U.S. and U.K. charts. Produced by Doris Day’s son Terry Melcher, session musicians replace band members on this tune to back Jim McGuinn and his 12-string Rickenbacker guitar.
